Alan Fitzpatrick, born in Southampton, has spent the past decade establishing himself as a key figure in contemporary techno. Known for navigating both underground and more accessible spaces, he is among the few artists receiving airplay on BBC Radio 1.
Initially recognised for his raw, hard-edged sound, Fitzpatrick has since broadened his production approach, releasing on labels such as Drumcode and collaborating with artists including Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, CamelPhat, and Jamie Jones. Alongside his techno output, he has explored more melodic and experimental material, including releases under his 3STRANGE alias.
In addition to his work as a DJ and producer, he runs the labels We Are The Brave and Apex Faction. Since 2016, We Are The Brave has accumulated over 50 million streams on Spotify, reflecting a focus on both established names and emerging talent within the techno scene.

For this 10 years edition, Alan Fitzpatrick reworks the original into the “Polite Rebellion Mix,” retaining its distinctive bassline while introducing a more defined rhythmic structure. The production emphasizes crisp percussion and measured progression, updating the track’s energy without departing from its core identity.
The release reflects both the longevity of the original record and Fitzpatrick’s continued development as a producer, while also marking a decade of activity for the We Are The Brave imprint.
