The first day of Tomorrowland’s special 20-year anniversary edition has ended. A magical day full of highlights and special moments, here’s a quick look at what the People of Tomorrow got to enjoy throughout the opening day and night.

The first performances at the brand-new ‘LIFE’ Mainstage

Finally coming back to Tomorrowland after 12 years, the legendary trio Swedish House Mafia, consisting of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, made their grand return to the Mainstage of Tomorrowland. More incredible performances at the brand-new ‘LIFE’ Mainstage were brought by Armin van Buuren, Da Tweekaz, John Newman, Kölsch, Miss Monique, Netsky, Oliver Heldens, Öwnboss, Vintage Culture and W&W.

Sulta Selects at CORE

After a series of spectacular shows in Tulum (Mexico) and Medellín (Colombia), the legendary new CORE stage made its debut in the enchanting forests of Tomorrowland in Belgium.

The magnificent CORE stage was hosted by Denis Sulta’s record label Sulta Selects, welcoming performances by BASHKKA, Denis Sulta, Desiree, DJ HEARTSTRING, Shanti Celeste and more, alongside a spectacular audiovisual experience.

Entirely designed and crafted in-house by Tomorrowland’s renowned creative team, the new CORE stage takes festivalgoers on a truly immersive multi-sensory journey, enveloped in a symphony of lights, dynamic videos, and enchanting scents.

A 3-hour set by Keinemusik at the Crystal Garden

The Berlin-based music collective Keinemusik (Rampa, Adam Port, &ME), undoubtedly one of the hottest names in electronic music, made their Tomorrowland debut, taking over the beautiful Crystal Garden with a 3-hour set, while inviting other guests like Alan Dixon,Samm, WhoMadeWho, and more.

Hard techno took over the Atmosphere stage

Hard techno, characterized by its pulsating beats and high-energy rhythms, has emerged as the new face of techno and took over the impressive Atmosphere stage, inviting some of the most popular hard techno artists like Azyr, DYEN, OGUZ, Sara Landry, Trym, VIDO and more.

Hardwell closing down the Freedom Stage

The Freedom Stage is a technical feat of epic proportions. Armed with a massive LED backdrop, giant dragonflies, and spotlights scanning the room for happy ravers’ faces, this is an unparalleled experience. Dutch legend Hardwell had the honor of closing down the Freedom Stage on the first day, while other performances were brought by Agents Of Time (live), Don Diablo, Mathame, Mau P, Rose Ringed and more.

The 14-year-old DJ Daan opened the Rise stage

Spread over the two festival weekends, 7 young talents, from 9 to 17 years old, will get the opportunity to perform across different stages, in collaboration with the Tomorrowland Academy, Tomorrowland’s DJ & producer school for kids, youngsters, and adults. The 14-year-old Belgian DJ Daan got to open the Rise stage, nestled in green nature full of beautiful plants and summery vibes.
