Tomorrowland Winter

This was the first day of Tomorrowland Winter 2025

The very first performances at different stages, including the Cage, CORE, Amare by Sephora, Frozen Lotus and The Reflection of Love.

The first day of Tomorrowland Winter 2025 has ended.

A magical day full of highlights and special moments, here’s a quick look at what the People of Tomorrow got to enjoy throughout the opening day and night.

Marking the fifth edition of Tomorrowland Winter, this week is a milestone anniversary with a mesmerizing mix of music, mountains, and adventure.

For five years already, the breathtaking peaks of Alpe d’Huez have been welcoming countless People of Tomorrow from near and far, forming friendships that lasted far beyond this winter wonderland.

While the People of Tomorrow have arrived and got settled in their lodging in the beautiful French ski resort of Alpe d’Huez or one of the surrounding villages, festivalgoers could already enjoy the very first performances at different stages, including the Cage, CORE, Amare by Sephora, Frozen Lotus and The Reflection of Love.

Some of today’s highlights were brought by Dutch duo Lucas & Steve, French artists Agoria and Alex Wann, Italian melodic techno duo Mathame, UK duo Goodboys, and many more.

Discover some of Tomorrowland Winter’s 2025 stages

Entering Tomorrowland Winter’s festival grounds for the first time, nestled at such a heavenly altitude, doesn’t compare to anything.

All of the stages can be reached by easier routes, as well as ski lifts, so people can go anywhere they like, even if they are new to skiing.

CORE

After a series of spectacular shows in Tulum (Mexico) and Medellín (Colombia), at Tomorrowland Brasil, as well as the enchanting forests of Tomorrowland in Belgium, the legendary new CORE stage has made its way to Alpe d’Huez to kick off the year in style, welcoming world-class performances alongside a spectacular audiovisual experience by the scene’s finest acts in house and techno.

The stage’s rocky structure, intertwined with natural elements, is breathtaking on its own, but gets even better as impressive lights and laser beams dance around the stage.

A striking highlight of the stage is its inscrutable, metaphysical human visage, split down the middle by a large screen.

With the mountains as a backdrop, the new stage seamlessly blends into the rich scenery and natural beauty of Alpe d’Huez.

Cage

Cage is the go-to underground club in the snowy mountains of Alpe d’Huez, serving a wide range of ravers.

Think lots of darkness with a little light effect here and there to enhance the mystery of it all, this place is not for the faint of heart, but it sure is intimate.

Amare by Sephora

All the way from Tomorrowland’s desert destination Terra Solis in Dubai to Alpe d’Huez come Amare’s gorgeous LED-fueled décor pieces that bring the legendary Amare by Sephora stage to life.

Amare by Sephora is the largest Tomorrowland Winter stage at the higher altitudes, overlooking the valley of Alpe d’Huez and beyond.

If Tomorrowland Winter resembles a frosty fairytale, the mythical bird Amare may well be one of its most captivating and remarkable creatures.

The Reflection of Love

Tomorrowland Belgium’s 2022 theme, The Reflection of Love, turned out to be one of the most popular ever, and so little bits and pieces of it are back this year in Alpe d’Huez.

It’s a real precious place for ravers and nature lovers alike. Belgian hard dance DJ MANDY cites the stage as her favorite secret corner in all of Alpe d’Huez?

Frozen Lotus

2025’s Frozen Lotus stage is quintessentially Tomorrowland Winter, and will again feature a stunning natural setting overgrown with some of the prettiest frost-resistant plants and flowers.

At Frozen Lotus you won’t have to settle for anything less than the world’s best mountain views ever observed from a dancefloor.

Despite the exceptional location, the place is small enough to resemble the collective, familiar feeling of the club. Frozen Lotus is also a gastronomical hub, where you can enjoy a refined lunch, then slowly recover from the food before you start the dance.

Exciting winter activities in the mountains of Alpe d’Huez

Festivalgoers can enjoy various exciting winter activities in the mountains of Alpe d’Huez to make the most of Tomorrowland Winter, including Start to DJ workshops, dogsled rides, electric bike rides, paragliding experiences, snowshoeing, outdoor mountain yoga, snake gliss, Alpine coaster rides, and more.
